This release introduces several features still in beta. We’ve added UART triggering for deeper integration with Pixout, implemented an HTTPS to HTTP redirect for better access, and launched our most significant update: sound support, allowing audio synchronization with your lighting.

Changelog:

  1. HTTPS to HTTP Redirect – In modern browsers, the protocol must be specified when entering an IP address (e.g., 2.0.0.230). If only the IP is entered, the browser defaults to HTTPS (e.g., https://2.0.0.230). We have addressed this issue by automatically redirecting back to HTTP, as our device does not fully support HTTPS.
  2. UART Triggering (in beta) – You can now send commands via UART to trigger the Pixout Recorder. A list of available commands can be found in the User Manual.
  3. Audio Support (in beta) – Sync audio with light in the simplest way possible. A WAV file will play immediately after your Cue List starts. You can also specify a delay if you need a gap between the Cue List start and the audio. This functionality is still in beta; please contact support if you are interested in trying it out.
