We have released a new automatic software update for the Pixout controller. We added a UI feature that lets users specify whether controller is to be automatically updated. By default, automatic updates are disabled, so after this update you will not receive any further updates, unless you opt-in.
Why is it important?
This is important because you will not receive any further updates unless you toggle the Automatic update switch in the Web Admin Panel -> Packages tab.
Why is it made in this manner?
The next release contains a lot of new features and bug fixes. This will be the last major update before we release backward incompatible features/fixes. Since we don’t want break working solutions all over the globe, we’re making subsequent updates be opt-in. The backward incompatible changes include the reworked Art-Net replay feature, which provides better performance and stability. This may require you to re-record your cues.
What do I need to do now?
If you wish to continue receiving automatic updates, you will need enable this feature in the Web Admin panel -> Packages. We suggest doing this only for projects under your control.
1) Clear you browser cache in Web Admin Panel after update ( Ctrl-F5 for Windows )
2) In case of successful update Web Admin Panel -> Packages -> pxclient – 1.1.4e
